Emily and Zandy are the most fun and playful couple. I knew their wedding would be an upbeat and relaxed day.
The girls got their hair and make up done at a salon in town before heading to the Air BnB to get dressed. It was a scorcher of a day with no cloud cover.
The plan was to do a first look and bridal party photos before the ceremony.
I left with Emily and the girls in her car while Amy went with the guys to meet us at the orchard lookout point, we were using.
We had a bit of a mission to find where the guys had gone but found them after a few wrong turns and back tracking.
The first look was everything I hope these moments will be – super charged with emotion, nerves and excitement.
We did about 20 minutes of photos afterwards but had to stop because it was just so unbearably hot.
Everyone went off to cool down and touch up before the ceremony.
The Orchard Garden has a giant maze that they scatter petals through so you can find you way to the centre. In the middle is a giant tree the ceremony is held under.
It was a beautiful ceremony that was super personal. Afterwards we went into the gardens for family photos and cake cutting. Emily and Zandy are so bad ass they cut their cake with a sword.
I pulled the bridal party away for another 15 minutes to do some more photos and get the drone out because that maze was made for aerial photos!
The reception was great – hilarious speeches and a night of partying to finish off a fantastic day.
