Candice & Temoana got married on Saturday at Lake Hood in Ashburton!
Temo had a very relaxed morning with the guys. They all had custom made matching bow ties in red and black.
Candice got ready with her daughters & bridesmaids. It was a bittersweet day for her with most of the family unable to attend as they are all in South Africa. She had a pin that was attached to her bouquet for them.
They got married the The Lakehouse, which had a wooden arch on the outside deck overlooking the lake.
Candice’s cousin walked her down the aisle and seeing the look on Temoana’s face was just priceless. It was a beautiful ceremony with vows that made a lot of people’s eyes water! (Mine included )
We then had to beat the rain and do family photos + bridal party pics in half an hour. Nothing like a good time crunch! Thankfully we didn’t need to go far and just had the Impala pull up on the lawn!
This have everyone heaps of time to relax and mingle before the reception. As a surprise Jody, the maid of honour had put together a video of messages from friends & family in South Africa for Candice. Such an emotional but awesome surprise.
They cut the cake, (Temo wore half of it on his face ) and had an intimate first dance. Finally the bouquet was tossed, garter removed and the party started!!
