Eilish and Sean had the most amazing day planned for their wedding in the Catlins.
The girls got ready in Pounawea at one of the beachfront apartments.
Eilish had made her very own wedding day playlist with all the beats to get you pumped while getting hair and make up done for your big day!
We did a first look with the bridesmaids after Eilish got dressed and the reactions are just priceless. We did the same with her Dad when he arrived to pick them up to drive to River Ridge Retreat.
Sean had spent the morning clay bird shooting with the guys and getting ready on site.
They had a beautiful ceremony spot set up down on the back lawn. The girls arrived on the back of an electric blue Chevrolet truck.
It was an intimate and touching ceremony with lots of laughs!
After family photos and congratulations, we headed out to Purakuauni Bay. The cliffs out here are just amazing, and we had a bit of fun chasing the tide and getting bridal party photos!
On the way back to River Ridge we stopped at the Purakaunui Falls. Being late afternoon on a Saturday it was reasonably busy, but everyone enjoyed getting to watch Eilish and Sean dance under the falls with that gorgeous dress!
Back at the reception the room was beautifully decorated. Eilish even had her Mum’s wedding dress on display along with a photo from her wedding day.
They played games after dinner and did a bouquet throw and garter toss. The difference between the two was hilarious! The girls diving for the bouquet while the guys just stood and watched as the garter hit the floor.
The party started straight after the first dance and went on well into the night.
What I loved so much about the day is the amount of thought and planning that had gone into every single little detail. Everything ran so smoothly, everyone was relaxed and genuinely enjoyed a day full of fun, love and laughter.
