It was a big weekend for Amy & Ash who got married in Dunedin with closest friends and family.

On Friday they had a traditional Haldi ceremony, where turmeric, oil & water are put on the bride to bless the wedding and rice sprinkled. Everyone ends up covered in turmeric and there are lots of laughs and celebrating!

On the Saturday they both got ready with their wedding parties separately (and the dogs Rocko & Nala!) before meeting for a first look in the backyard. Then it was into the vintage cars and off to get some photos.

The weather was kind and it was a beautiful crisp day - Amy looked like a snow queen with her fur! Ash looked so sharp in his jacket & cap - it was quite a Peaky Blinders vibe!

They got married in Knox Church with its big stained glass windows. They had a lovely ceremony and departed for the reception in the vintage cars again!

The reception was held at Precinct Cafe. They had a delicious menu, gorgeous table stylings (all done by Amy’s sisters over the past year) and special mention to the cake which was also made by Amy’s sister Megan!

They had some fantastic speeches and finished the night partying, dancing and having fun on the photobooth.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs D’Costa! 🥂
