Alesha & Marty got married in Dunedin on a beautiful blue sky day!
Alesha spent the morning with her friends getting ready at home. Check out her cute little pug Fred who looks like a very distinguished gentleman in his bow tie collar. He was the ring bearer!
Marty got ready with the guys at his parents house before meeting up above Tomahawk Beach for a first look.
It was wild and windy but so dramatic & what an amazing view! We headed down to the beach with the bridal party to escape the wind but met a very large sea lion having a cheeky wee sunbathe.
The ceremony was just down the road at Lochend Woolshed. With views out over the lagoon. Alesha’s Dad walked her down the aisle, Fred got a bit of stage fright and slipped his collar and did a runner (they got him back though!) and both Marty & Alesha read beautiful vows to each other.
The reception was decorated to the nines with little pine cones, personalised cookies & fairy lights! It was a good mix of speeches with lots of laughs and honouring Alesha’s late step father Bobby. She has a ring made to wear on the day with his fingerprint engraved which was beautiful.
They ate, drank and then partied the rest of the night away!
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Boyd! 🥂
