Fiordland // Pre wedding photos at Lake Erskine

Axel & Jhacki at the stunning Lake Erskine in Fiordland. They were having lots of family and friends travel to NZ for their wedding and wanted to prioritise spending time with them all on the wedding day and not going off for photos. But also… they wanted to go away for helicopter photos…


So to solve this problem they did their wedding photos a couple of weeks before the actual wedding! We did a first look where they saw each other for the first time and then headed off into the mountains.


One of the big positives to doing your photos before the wedding is the flexibility to reschedule due to weather. Twice we couldn’t fly on the planned days, but third time lucky we got this glorious afternoon!
