It was so special getting the chance to photograph Sydney & Jonty’s wedding in Invercargill.
I met Jonty when I first left school and we worked at the same bar. It was so cool to see the old Kiln crew together at the wedding. I loved getting to know Sydney and the kids during the lead up to the big day too! Such a beautiful & kind family.
The guys got ready together at home while Sydney and the girls were at the Lodges accross from Transport World. (Such beautiful rooms to get ready in!!)
The girls had so much fun bouncing on the bed with ring shaped balloon before getting dressed.
It was a stunner of a day, with the ceremony being held at the Abbey. The girls all looked so cute in their white dresses and Cooper in his suit & bow tie as he walked Mum down the aisle.
Just as we started family photos this hurricane wind came up that sent chairs flying, dust in everything, umbrellas taking off and hairstyles destroyed. It was crazy!
Thankfully back in Invercargill we found a beautiful secluded spot in the forest with not a breath of wind to hang out and do some bridal photos before a super relaxed and beautiful reception at the Cabbage Tree.
The night ended on the D floor with a duke box and tunes cranking!
