Mandi & Matthew’s wedding was a first for me - it was at the Civic Theatre on stage! It was probably the most technically challenging wedding Amy & I have done in years and I’m so happy with how these photos turned out!
Matthew spent the morning in town, having a wander in the park and then getting into his suit, ready to meet all of their guests (most who has come over from Australia)
Mandi was at home and had a relaxed morning getting ready with her family. The details that we went into this day were amazing and I loved Mandi’s shoes!
At the Civic guests were ushered into seats and the ceremony began. There were beautiful words exchanged and an instead of walking down the aisle the pair did a dramatic bow and exited stage left.
Guests enjoyed drinks and food while we did some photos in the theatre and then at Queens Park in the spot where Matthew proposed ☺️
The reception was on stage with a curtain of fairy lights that looked like stars as a backdrop. Guest found their seats, the curtain was dropped and Mandi & Matthew snuck up on stage ready for a surprise first dance. When the curtain was raised they did a choreographed dance with a singer and wowed everyone before dinner kicked off.
The rest of the evening was full of amazing speeches, cheese (it was a Whitestone cheese cake!) good food, laughter, some sunset portraits and more dancing. Such a fun day for this incredible couple!
