The Aspinall booked some family photos for Teddy's first birthday - it's so good to do photos at least once a year with a growing family & birthdays are good milestones to plan around.
It was a cold winters day with rain, rain and more rain but thankfully we could escape into the Botanical Gardens to warm up, before throwing on some other outfits, hats, coats & umbrellas to explore the rest of the park.
I always try to get the more 'formal' photos done first up in our session and then the second half is just playing around and having fun, no matter what the weather throws at us!
"We chose Brogan to take some family photos and it was the best decision ever! Going out in the middle of winter with two young children is always a bit nerve-wracking and I was worried this might translate to our pictures, but as soon as I talked with Brogan we made a plan and that worry turned to excitement.
We had a last minute change of location due to the wild wintery weather and that was no issue at all. Our session was so much fun. Brogan knew exactly where in the park to take us, including a few spots we'd never considered! Everyone had a great time and we enjoyed exploring the park as a family with Brogan capturing all kinds of fun interactions and special little moments, especially of the kids, and I know for sure we'll treasure looking back on these pictures forever!
This was our second time working with Brogan after she took amazing unicorn photos for our daughter's birthday last year, these were a REALLY special treat, and we know we'll be coming back again in the future.
Nothing was an issue, Brogan has incredible communication and can answer any and every question, we all had a great time, and the photos we have received (with super-fast turnaround!) are incredible and really capture the personalities of our family.
