Invercargill // Star Gazing Adventure Session

When was the last time you just hung out and under the night sky, counting satellites and shooting stars?

On Saturday night Millie and Mike met me out at Oreti Beach after they finished work.

It was one of those beautiful winter sunsets that casts golden and pink shadows. We ran around and caught the last of it.

Once it got a little darker, they got out the blankets, hot chocolates and marshmallows before sitting back and enjoying the milky way coming to life!

It is so easy to forget to take time out together and enjoy the beauty we have right on our doorstep.

This made me totally nostalgic for my childhood when I would hang out with my best friends on their water tank and star gaze for hours.
