Lake Pukaki // Spring wedding at Lakestone Lodge

It was a gloriously sunny day at Lake Pukaki for Ashley & Alan’s wedding! Along with their immediate families they celebrated at Lakestone Lodge nestled up on the hill looking directly out to Mount Cook.
It was a super relaxed morning for everyone, getting ready on site in private rooms each with a little patio and epic views. Ash did a first look with Alan to calm the nerves and then with her Dad. I love these moments so much.
The ceremony was a floral dream with blue skies and wooden benches. They had a beautiful intimate ceremony and enjoyed some drink and snacks with everyone before we headed off for photos.
There is a walking track right behind the lodge, so we wandered up there for incredible 360 degree views of the area. Then whipped down to the lakefront to take in the mountains and turquoise water.
As a little surprise for guests, the couple had a planned first dance up their sleeves! It went down a treat on the lawn with the sun setting as Alan spun Ash around.
Then they had a delicious meal and spent the rest of the evening enjoying the company of family. Such a fun day!
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Kingan 🥂

Lakestone Lodge wedding at Lake Pukaki
"Brogan captured our wedding and did the most incredible job! We are in love with all our photos. She made us feel super comfortable having never had professional photos taken before our wedding.
Not only was she the best photographer, but Brogan was so thorough and professional in all her correspondence - she made the process of booking, preparation before the wedding and payments super straight forward. Highly recommend!!"
