HC and Nick had a beautiful and intimate wedding at the Winehouse in Arrowtown.
Organising a wedding from overseas (Sydney) can be pretty hard work, but HC took it all in her stride – even with the weather not wanting to play ball.
HC and her friends all got ready at a house in Queenstown overlooking the lake. It was such a calm and relaxed morning with a delivery of Fergburger to keep everyone going!
Nick and his groomsmen got ready at the QT hotel before heading out to the Winehouse and having to make the call of an indoor ceremony due to the on and off showers of rain.
Walking down the aisle HC looked stunning, I love her reaction to seeing Nick waiting there for her.
Their vows had everyone in tears and then bursting out into laughter – the love that friends and family have for these two is abundant.
With the rain sand cold wind still hanging around we whipped the bridal party outside to get some photos as quickly as we could – before sneaking Nick & HC away to the little outlook over the gorge.
The reception was gorgeous with candles and florals adorning the room. Instead of wedding favours for guests, HC & Nick had donated to HC’s charity OnCourse Projects. This provided a meal for one child in Kenya for a month, per guest. <3
During the speeches (which were hilarious!) HC & Nick got up and announced that they were expecting their second child. Such a cool moment! When they hit the dance floor later in the evening HC removed her skirt from the gown and showed off her baby bump, she had been hiding all day.
It was such a feel-good day all round, I wish these two all the happiness in the world.
