Te Anau // Lakeside & Rodeo Grounds Wedding

Sage & Richard had a fabulous wedding day right on the lakefront at Te Anau. There was very ominous clouds looming for most of the day, which made the scene even more dramatic!

Richard and his friends got ready together in the morning, meanwhile Sage and her friends were at the house by the lake. They had a fun and very relaxed morning together. Once Sage was in her gown she did a first look with the bridesmaids, parents and siblings. It was very emotional and always such a special moment to witness.

With not far to go she stepped out the fire and straight into the ceremony, where Richard was waiting and so excited to see her. They had a beautiful ceremony, walking out with beaming smiles.

We whipped away for photos with the bridal party, who had about 5 mins to have their picnic before torrential rain hammered us for 15 mins. Those clear umbrellas are getting a workout this summer! Eventually it stopped enough to get some photos and these guys had so much fun. The rain didn’t dampen spirits.

Then it was off to the Rodeo grounds for the party! The marquee was decorated to the nines. I loved the colouring in welcome board they had for the guests. The evening was filled with speeches, great food, some hilarious games that got guests up and running around having so many laughs! Then dancing the night away. Such a fun day with awesome people.
