Kim and Matt originally planned to get married on her Pop’s farm in Te Anau.
A week out from the wedding the weather was looking horrific so the ceremony was rescheduled for the glass chapel down in front of the lake.
The morning was super relaxed with everyone getting ready within a 5 - minute drive from each other (photographers dream!).
The weather had turned out surprisingly sunny and the little white church was looking so pretty.
It was a short but sweet ceremony – Matt looked stoked to be standing up there when Kim walked down the aisle with her Dad.
Instead of both exchanging rings – Kim gave Matt a whistle instead.
After the ceremony and family photos we headed out to the Pop’s farm. The views are just incredible looking out over the mountains and lake – it would have made a gorgeous ceremony venue as well!
Matt had his working dogs with little bow ties on all line up for a photo. They were so well trained – I can’t even imagine trying to get this photo with 6 pet dogs. Also, how good do these guys all look with their cowboy hats and whistles?!
I stole the couple away for 15 mins to climb up one of the hills and get a little bit of alone time away from everyone. You could feel the love and just-got-married feels coming off these two! I could have hung out up there all afternoon!
We whipped off to the Te Anau wharf to get a few more photos before heading into town for the reception.
It was a night filled with hilarious speeches, good food and a party on the dance floor!
