Winton // Ethereal Spring Wedding at the Hideaway 201

A September wedding is always a little touch & go - but Joseph did his research and found out that it hadn’t rained in Southland on the 23rd September for over 20 years! And guess what - they had a glorious, warm bluebird day!

The little details that went into this wedding were amazing. Joe had the coolest shoes, a pocket watch and was giving major Peaky Blinder vibes. Mikayla was this ethereal princess with florals in her hair, long sleeves and a green jewel crown.

They did a first look at The Hideaway before having a little private time to read letters they had written for each other. If you find it easier to write than say what you really want on the day, this is a great way to get those thoughts out without having to worry about breaking down into tears as you speak. It was such a beautiful and emotional moment ❤️

We did some photos with the bridal party before guests arrived for the pond side ceremony with the big weeping willow as a backdrop.

After an afternoon full of laughs and celebration they headed into the reception which was decorated with vibrant greens, candles and personalised napkins. It was an evening full of love and they rocked the dance floor at the end of the night!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Wass 🥂

Celebrant: Sharyn Payne
