Winton // Summer marquee wedding at the Hideaway 201

Helen & Michelle had the most beautiful, bright, colourful and emotional wedding day. It was planned to be exactly how they wanted it and shared with their favourite people.

Helen spent the morning getting ready with her friends and Michelle spent hers getting ready with family. They both left home at the same time so they would arrive at the Hideaway together and do their first look as they stepped out of their vehicles.

It was such a nice moment, and then they went to check out the beautiful marquee set up before heading away to the boardroom to share a glass of bubbles and some down time before the ceremony started. With everything set up on the lawn in front of the marquee, they walked hand in hand down the tree lane to meet their parents waiting to walk them down the aisle.

It was such a beautiful ceremony - Lou wrote the story of how they met so well and then when it came to the vows both Helen & Michelle said the kindest, most heartfelt words to each other. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place! After walking back down the aisle as wife & wife they enjoyed drinks, snacks and downtime with their loved ones in the sun. The only speeches were from the couple (who again had everyone in tears!) before dinner was served in a market style, pick you food stations.

It worked so well and is a cool idea if you are wanting to opt for a more casual dining experience. We whipped away for a few golden hour photos before the dance floor started and the party continued on! It was the most perfect day! Congratulations Mrs & Mrs Perkins! 🥂
