Coronet Peak

Distance from Queenstown Town Centre: 15 min drive
Walk to Site: 5 mins from where we park

Amenities: None
Notes: This spot of best for sunrise or sunset. In the winter gets quite a bit of snow.

 
Skippers Canyon Lookout 

Distance from Queenstown: 15 min drive
Walk to site: 3 mins down narrow track
Dogs:
Yes, but it has a steep drop off so I wouldn't advise bringing your dog here.
Amenities: None
Notes: This spot of best for sunrise or sunset. Can be reached with just the car. 
Sharp drop off to the side so best if you are not afraid of heights!
Arrow River

Distance from Queenstown: 15 min drive
Walk to site: 10 mins
Dogs: Yes
Amenities: None

Notes: This spot of best for sunset or an overcast day. 
Moke Lake

Distance from Queenstown: 20 min drive
Walk to site: 5 mins
Dogs: No
Amenities: Toilets

Notes: Can be quite busy in peak summer but always easy to find an area that is more secluded. Horse trekking is also here if you wanted to combine that with your session. 
Great for wedding photos & bridal parties. 
Road in can get very slippery and muddy in the winter, so a 4 wheel drive is advised in Winter/Spring.
Lake Hayes

Distance from Queenstown: 15 min drive
Walk to Site: 0 - 10 mins depending on where you park

Amenities: Toilets

Notes: Stunning in the Autumn with rich orange and red colours. 
A good spot to go with bridal parties if you want flat ground and lake views. 
Rafters Road

Distance from Central Queenstown: 15 min drive
Walk to Site: 5 mins 
Dogs: No
Amenities: Toilets

Notes: Close to the Winehouse in Gibbston Valley. Quite uneven rocks so good shoes required. Beautiful riverside spot!
Bob's Cove

Distance from Central Queenstown: 15 min drive
Walk to Site: 10 mins of flat and downhill to jetty. 20 mins through bush & uphill to lookout.
Dogs: No
Amenities: Toilet at Carpark

Notes: 20 minute walk (10 uphill) to get to this lookout spot. Lots of forest & beach areas to stop and take photos along the way + a wharf. Beautiful location looking down over the lake. Best for sunrise or sunset.
Cecil Peak (Heli Location)

Distance from Queenstown Airport: 7 min flight
Notes: Beautiful spot with views down over Queenstown and the lake. The Ledge is a popular spot with flat rocks to stand on overlooking the views. Great for wedding photos if you want to do a quick flight.
The Remarkables (Heli Location)

Distance from Queenstown Airport: 5 min flight
Notes: Beautiful spot with views down over Queenstown and the lake. Often has lots of snow up here in the winter. Great for wedding photos if you want to do a quick flight.
