Notes: Nice spot in the Autumn with the colour in the trees. Good place to go with bridal parties for that dirt road look. Can get windy in the mid afternoon.

Notes: Beautiful lakeside spot with mountains. Right next to the gravel road. Beach is quite rocky, but awesome spot for those stunning Fiordland lakeside views.

Notes: Quite a tight space in the forest, but nice spots down by the water - it requires a bit of climbing to get down to, so make sure you have good shoes.
Lake Victoria (Helicopter Location)

Notes: Very dramatic, beautiful location! Gets quite snowed in during the winter, but in the summer you can land right down by the lake.
Jackson Peak (Helicopter Location)
Distance from Te Anau: 10 min heli flight from Te Anau
Notes: Beautiful mountain spot with lake and town views. Only a short flight from town.
Doubtful Sound (Helicopter Location)
Distance from Te Anau: 20 min heli flight
Notes: Amazing dramatic location with views over the sound. Good walking shoes required as there is quite rocky ground full of tussocks.
Campbell's Kingdom (Helicopter Location)
Distance from Te Anau: 15 min heli flight
Notes: Beautiful spot with a big waterfall. Good place to stop for photos on the way to Doubtful Sound. Can be lots of sandflies if there is no wind.
Lake Erskine (Helicopter Location)

Notes: Beautiful spot with turquoise lake. Can get lots of snow in the winter!
Norwest Lakes (Helicopter Location)
Distance from Te Anau: 15 min heli flight
Notes: Amazing spot overlooking a lake. This is where they filmed some Rivendell scenes in Lord of the Rings!

Notes: A good location to see Mitre Peak and the famous Milford swing is down here. Can be beautiful in the evenings for sunset. Stones are a little hard to walk on at times so make sure you have appropriate footwear!
