1: Te Anau
This beautiful lakeside town is the gateway to Fiordland. With mountains surrounding the lake and vibrant native forest.
With an endless amount of jaw dropping locations that are within a 30 - minute helicopter flight, you will be totally spoilt for choice. If you are lucky, a couple of cheeky kea's will drop in during your shoot!
2: Queenstown
No matter what the season, Queenstown has the perfect hidden little spot to say your vows.
Whether you want to be up a mountain, down by the turquoise waters of river or in the middle of fresh fluffy snow at the top of a peak.
3: The Catlins
The Catlins are one of Southlands best kept secrets. In just a few hours you can chase waterfalls, explore caves and watch the waves crash from high up above rocky cliffs.
4: Mount Cook
The size and scale of Mt Cook National Park means you can be completely alone to say your vows. With dramatic mountains and glacial lakes – there is something for everyone.
5: Tekapo
No matter what the season, Lake Tekapo is always a startlingly rich turquoise colour. Snow - capped mountains surround the lake and at night billions of stars twinkle overhead.
If lupins are your thing – these fields come alive in mid Nov – Mid Dec. A sea of pastel colour!
6 - Omarama
If you are looking for somewhere totally different – Omarama might just be the ticket. The Clay Cliffs make you feel like you are in America and after a day adventuring, I can totally recommend soaking in the hot tubs overlooking the lake.
7 - Milford Sound
If you are looking for somewhere moody, dramatic and breathtaking no matter what the season.
With mountains, 100’s of waterfalls and lush green forest – it will be a real adventure!
