Cromwell // Air BnB Elopement + The Church 1914 Reception

When Caitlin & Camden first told me about their elopement day plans - they knew from the get go they wanted an all out party. And what better way to do that than have your intimate elopement day… and then a big party for everyone else a couple of days later!

They were staying in Cromwell and invited their closest friends, parents and siblings to join them. It was the most relaxed morning with the bridal party playing cards, while Caitlin did her make up in her own time and watched a bit of Greys Anatomy.

They had SO many cool little details planned out. Caitlin wore heirloom rings on a necklace. They custom made their own perfumes for the day. Dora their fur baby had her very own little dress! Camdens Dad has an incredible collection of cars and three of these were vehicles for the day.

The ceremony was on the deck overlooking the lake in between showers. They had vows that left everyone in tears before picking names out of a bowl to see who would sign the paperwork with them. Then it was into cutting the cake and of course a champagne tower! 🥂

We headed off in the cars to get some photos and part way through it torrentially poured with rain and we all got saturated. It was still so much fun and nobody was too bothered - everyone was having such a good time we just went off to another location and continued on there!

That evening they had a private chef who made the most mouth watering four course meal. There were a couple of speeches, lots of laughter and copious bottles of bubbly consumed. It really was an all out party!

This was only the beginning because round 2 was happening in Invercargill a couple of days later… more to come on that 😉

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Patterson! 🥂

After having a private day on Tuesday, they had a big party with everyone at the Church 1914 in Invercargill.

To make things a little more dramatic, guests arrived and gathered at the bottom of the big stairs case. Ben from Wedd Films pulled a couple of all nighters and managed to finish a highlight film of their day that played for everyone to see! Then they made an entrance to whooping and cheering down the big staircase!

Speeches, food, drinks and dancing followed.

Such an awesome way to celebrate ❤️

"Brogan is/was absolutely amazing! with the speed in which we got our photos back but also with how well she captured both of our wedding days plus our engagement shoot! We both are in love with all of our photos.

Brogan fitted in so well with our guests and bridal party team! we will 100% be booking with her again in the future and also recommending her to anyone needing photos done!"
