Invercargill // Elegant Anderson Park wedding

2026 kicked off with a colourful elegant park wedding in Invercargill for Grace & Morgan.


Grace and the bridesmaids got ready at the house in Anderson Park (this is an amazing getting ready space with SO many photo locations, I was spoilt for choice!)


After getting into her gown she did a first look with the bridesmaids (on who was on FaceTime from Australia), then her Dad and finally Morgan!


We did photos around the park while we dodged the rain showers that kept coming through. Thankfully it all cleared up just into time for the ceremony under the big tree.


The said heartfelt vows in front of friends and family before walking out to a shower of petals. They had a surprise waiting round the corner… Mr Whippy! So once guests had done their formal family photos, it was like getting a reward of ice cream. Family photos went so efficiently and fast (I think Grace is onto something here!)


Then everyone heading to the house to enjoy cocktails and games on the lawn in the sun that decided to show up! They cut the cake, had some lovely speeches and then it was time to relax with roaming pizzas and drinks for the rest of the evening.


That most chill and relaxing day - congratulations Mr & Mrs Ormsby! 🥂
