Lake Tekapo // Surprise proposal in the snow at Church of the Good Shepard

Zacharie had a very well thought out plan for how he wanted to propose to Zoey on their NZ trip. They were flying in to Christchurch with his family and secretly Zoey's Mum & sister were fly in to Queenstown.
They would drive up to Tekapo, stay the night and the next day all meet together at the proposal location in Mount Cook. Well, the weather had some other plans!
Overnight we had a 50cm snow dump in Tekapo (thankfully everyone managed to make it to Tekapo the evening before, so at least we were all stuck in the same place!). After some frantic group chats we came up with plan B at the Church of the Good Shepard by the lake.
The proposal went perfectly, Zoey's family appeared with a big bouquet of roses and Zach could breathe easy! We then had lots of fun taking photos in the fresh snow! And how good do the roses look against the white & blues?
It was a real adventure and a day they will never forget ❤️💍☃️
