Te Anau // Backyard + Redcliff Cafe Autumn Wedding

Kate & Dan had a fabulous day in Te Anau for their wedding. The sun was shining and everyone was so happy for these two.

Dan and his friends had a great morning getting ready together - I’m loving the colour of his suit!

Kate and her friends also had a fun morning together. Her veil is epic and looked amazing with her gown & hairpiece.

The ceremony was on a friend’s lawn, looking straight down the lake. Guests had hand woven flax baskets full of petals to throw (all of the baskets, flax flowers & buttonholes we made by Kate talented friend Tay)They had a beautiful ceremony with personal vows, ring warming (where they are passed to all the guests) and walked out to a shower of dried petals. Then straight to the champagne tower!

The rest of the afternoon consisted of cake, speeches, photos in the sun and snacks before the helicopter came and picked them up from the lawn. We flew to Jackson Peaks and had awesome views with moody clouds. Kate’s veil looked amazing with the wind!

The reception was at the Red Cliff Cafe and more friends joined for this. The night kicked off with the pair walking in doing a choreographed dance with lifts & spins before cocktails and food started flowing. Such a fun day! Congratulations Kate & Dan ❤️
