Zoe & Matt got married on the hottest day of the year (or all time, I dunno, my brain was fried 🥵) at the Lookout Lodge in Wanaka.
They both got ready in this epic house that slept all of their friends who had travelled down from the North Island, Aussie and Europe. The house had seperate wings so they didn’t see each other, but just before Matt left for the ceremony he came and gave Zoe’s hand a squeeze through the door! 🥰
The ceremony had these amazing floral vases that added big pops of red against the golden, dry landscape. Mum & Dad walked Zoe down the aisle together. It was a beautiful ceremony and they said such nice things to each other we all forgot we were melting under the sun for a while!
They walked out to a shower of bright bold petals! We stayed on site for some photos with the bridal party ft the MVP - portable fan. Zoe & Matt brought their open top red car down, so we HAD to get a few slick photos with it 👌🏼
The reception was so relaxed, with everyone enjoying speeches, the cheese cake and delicious food. We snuck off to a few sunset photos later in the evening when the wind had come up a bit. Followed up by an outdoor first dance under the mountains.
