It was a real Spring day for Fallon & Josh to tie the knot in Invercargill. Humid and muggy in the morning and thunderstorms in the afternoon! ⚡️
Josh & the guys had a great morning getting ready and heading to Anderson’s Park for the first look & phots in this beautiful yellow vintage car. Fallon & the bridesmaids had a pretty relaxed morning as well - until a drink got spilt all over a bridesmaids dress on the way to photos. Luckily they had an extra dress so crisis averted!
Anderson’s Park is looking fabulous at the moment with all of the Spring flowers and blossoms out. They did a first look under a blossom treee (so sweet ❤️) and then some photos with the crew before heading next door to Hawthorne Gardens to get married!
Fallon & Josh made all of the toi toi decorations for the aisle and up the front. A big job, that looked fantastic. The music started and to spice it up a little they had a flower man throwing petals and handing out drinks down the aisle. It was a short and super sweet ceremony, with the pair exiting to a flower toss!
There were grazing tables and mingling for the rest of the afternoon, but as the black clouds loomed closer and closer I decided it was now or never to sneak them off for couple photos before the rain came. They were such good spots getting photos done between the booming thunderclaps and we JUST made it back inside before the torrential downpour!
The reception was dark and moody with red lighting, fairy lights & a decorated skull on the head table. They had some beautiful words spoken and just before dinner did a little Polish tradition where the couple are serves 2 shots. One is water, one is vodka. It is said whoever gets the vodka shot will be the one ‘to wear the pants’ in the relationship - Fallon got the vodka!
