Bex and Russell had one of those days where everything just comes together perfectly! Instead of forecast rain they got bluebird skies & sun, the isolating rules changed just days before which ment that more of their guests could come & they got a beautiful red vintage car to zoom around in for the day!
They both got ready at home in Otatara, just keeping to different areas of the house so they wouldn’t see each other! Their bridal party were the kids, so this was a nice way to start the day.
The reception was on the lawn at the Cabbage Tree. It is a nice little secluded spot! As Bex started walking down the aisle her veil fell out so they had to have a laugh and put it back in - it was just what she needed to break the ice and the nerves!
They had a beautiful ceremony with bubbles blown as they walked back down the aisle with the kids!
There were grazing boards for guests of enjoy in the sun while we did family photos and they cut the cake. Can we all just take a minute to appreciate how delicious this cake looks with all of those berries too?!
Bex & Russell only wanted to be away for 45mins max including travel time for their photos. Having the Sandy Point Links just a 5 min drive away made this the dream location and we played around in the golden grass and made the most of the beautiful car.
The reception was looking fabulous - they rolled into a buffet before some emotional speeches. Later in the evening the dance floor kicked off, the photobooth was going hard and shots were being poured. It was a real night of partying and celebrating!
