Loren & Hans had a very clear vision of what they wanted for their wedding day. Winter, a sprinkle of snow on the mountains, stars, glitter and lots of laughter with the ones they love.
Te Anau brought the good and the clouds cleared for a stunning winters day. Loren spent the morning getting ready with her sister at the hairdressers.
Then it was into her gown and off to meet Hans at the hanger. He had a few tears when he saw Loren in her gown ☺️
We jumping in the helicopter and flew off to the STUNNING Lake Erskine. With snow reaching mid thigh in places, it was not the easiest location to get around, but these two embraced it. Their sheer joy and playfulness was infectious as they threw snow and even did some snow angels!
The ceremony & reception was held on a friends farm. The wool shed had been decorated to the nines and 15 of their nearest and dearest were in attendance.
It was a beautiful ceremony with Aroha doing a karanga to welcome the couple in. They passed their wedding bands around for a hand warming too.
We braved the mud for some spectacular views on the farm. They were spoilt for choice with photo locations!
Then it was a sit down meal, followed by dancing and speeches. Even the miniature horse came in for a listen. I left as they were still reminiscing and sharing stories with friends. It was such a magical winter day, with everything falling into place perfectly.
