Charlotte & Maarten planned the most beautiful bright wedding day at Fiordland Lodge, just outside of Te Anau.
I’m so happy to see all of these beautiful bold colour palettes this season 😍 The pair have two beautiful wee girls who were involved in all parts of the day too which was so cool.
Everyone got ready at Fiordland Lodge, which makes the day so easy. We did a first look with just Maarten & Charlotte, but photobombed by Sofia haha! Then some photos with the bridal party. We just stayed on site to keep it easy & to avoid travel with the whole crew.
The clouds were threatening rain, but it didn’t come to much and they had a beautiful ceremony. Charlottes brother piped her down the aisle & her Dad looked awesome in his tarten.
They had guests who had come from all over the world to celebrate, so it was really nice to have some downtime between family photos and the reception for them to just mingle and hang out with everyone.
The plan was for us to whip away in a helicopter, but the rain in the mountains thwarted those plans. Instead we got a massive rainbow, which ties in perfectly with the colour scheme of the day - almost like we had ordered it!
The reception was roaming food and a big grazing table. They had the best speeches and later in the night kicked off the dance floor with this epic choreographed dance! Charlotte changed into this cute sparkly number to make the most of the d-floor. It was such a cool day and the best vibes with amazing people ❤️
