Third time lucky - we had some pretty average weather this month and poor Rey had to wait until the third rescheduled flight before we could get up Coromandel Peak! But that’s Spring in NZ for ya.

Out on the famous lookout Rehan got down on one knee and proposed to Jane. There were lots of tears and laughter! We had a great time taking photos in the stunning scenery. Such a good morning and worth the wait for this gorgeous day! ❤️

Nick & Servane on top of the world in Wanaka! After running a marathon in Australia, they continued their trip on to NZ where Nick had a surprise waiting at the top of a mountain… 💍

Andrew & Bianca had a winter wedding at Transport World.

Surrounded by their loved ones they said ‘I do’ before heading out to the forest to get some photos with the bridal party! We explored Bill’s shed before the reception kicked off.

The evening was full of good speeches, great food and of course a dance floor! The museum space gives guests lots of room to dance the night away surrounded by the old cars.

Such a fun day! It snowed overnight so they had a winter wonderland on their honeymoon road trip too! Congratulations Andrew & Bianca 🥳

Taylor had a big surprise in store for Emily during their trip to New Zealand! We got lucky and had a day with blue skies and fresh snow after a big storm in Queenstown.

We couldn’t fly to the original spot, but the stunning Vanguard Peak made a great alternative! It was very cold, and the snow was pretty deep - but the views were unreal 👌🏼

Some cool things that happened at weddings this year…

Grace & Bob gave all of their guests either a tambourine or maraca. When they flew back in from Coromandel Peak the guests were waiting on the lawn making lots of noise and celebrating their return! (They also went down a treat on the d floor)

Sage & Richard had a colouring in welcome sign! This was so cool for guests as they stepped. Made by @skoodles_illustration

Kylie & Jack had live drawing at their wedding! Guests could come up to the table and get a cute little pic of them in their outfit to take home. Love this and @drawn.events.nz is SO talented!

Baylage people! Nymfe & Josh were my first wedding for 2026 and driving up the road to be welcomed by these made my day. Like what a way to have your guests arrive with a big smile!

Kaitlin & James made a dramatic entrance to their reception on a motorbike! We had some great fun taking photos with the bike at sunset too 😁

Erin & Kieran got some photos with their sheep, who they love dearly. So much so, they were the pictures for the table names! Each had a little description about the sheep’s personality and some photos.

Custom chocolates from @seriouslygoodchocolateco for Kylie & Jack!

Cows grazing in the shape of a love heart. ❤️
James had to move the cows in the morning and had an idea to have them add to the celebrations! The cows have collars on which set the boundary of where they can roam. As the day went on the heart became more pronounced in the paddock!

Hollies Mum made a sign with their wedding date grown in succulents! I love little touches like this 🌿

Nymfe & Josh got married on the farm, and what better way to cool off the drinks than using the bucket on the tractor? Worked an absolute treat 👌🏼

Toni & Riley had a lakeside wedding in the sun, so made these custom drink holders gifts for their guests. Useful on the day and beyond!

Julia & Cameron met through music, so they had little Boston this in the details throughout the day. I particularly liked the confetti wrapped in sheet music - a subtle touch but it just adds to the story!

These blooms grow all over the Mackenzie region and the rivers of Glenorchy & Fiordland. Every year it’s slightly different depending on the weather and how high the lake is sitting.

@honestlysarah__ and I did these photos at sunrise last year in Tekapo, before she helped me with a day of proposals - it’s my absolute favourite time of the day for photos here. The lighting is gorgeous and ever changing, plus you escape the crowds!
