Phillie and Davey wanted to elope with snow on the mountains and hopefully under foot too. It’s always had to know when the snow will come, but they picked a date in July and we hoped for at least a good dusting on the mountains in Tekapo.

Well. Nature provided and there was a massive snow storm the week leading up to their elopement and the day dawned with moody mists and patches of blue skies! It was absolutely freezing, but a real winter wonderland.

The pair got ready together in their cabin overlooking the lake. Phillie had the most amazing deep red gown that was just made to be photographed against snow!

The ceremony was on the lakefront ft. ducks bobbing around and mist moving through the scene. It was like something out of a movie. They said the most beautiful heartfelt vows, shed a few tears and exchanged rings. Just as we finished the mist cleared and we had clear blue sky again.

Town was super busy so we got out of there and headed to a nice spot for a little picnic set up, some champagne & music while soaking in the views. We had fun getting photos all around the area (I thought these guys did so well considering how cold it was!)

At the sun set we wrapped up and the pair heading about to their accom to hopefully have a hot outdoor bath and watch the stars. ✨

Have just had the most phenomenal month away in Africa, taking photos of all the incredible wildlife, riding horses through the flood waters of the Okavango Delta and exploring the desert in Namibia!

I went a couple of years ago with my Mum to do a horseback safari in Botswana and we talked about it non stop for a year after we got back… so decided we needed to do it again ☺️ It was another perfect week with awesome people feeling like you are in like little bubble of paradise.

We tagged on Namibia after the horse riding and it was such a cool country to explore. The landscapes are ever changing and incredible.

Here are some photos from the last month - if anyone is looking for a honeymoon destination that is a little different to the typical island holiday… this might be exactly what you are looking for! Namibia is easy to self drive around (it is huge though, so you will be clocking some big driving days) with lots of options from camping to luxury lodges.

The Okavango Delta in Botswana is an epic safari location and I cannot recommend the experience here enough. It is more expensive (but 100% worth it) as it’s small groups and incredible game viewing. We can get so close to the animals with the horses, which makes a riding safari so spectacular too.

Now back home and ready to kick into the winter weddings! ☃️

Gawain & Charmaine were on a trip to NZ with their daughter, visiting all of the most beautiful hikes in the lower South Island.

On a beautiful Autumn evening they walked up Diamond Lake in Wanaka and I just happened to be there at the lookout… for this epic moment! 💍❤️

Vince planned the most amazing proposal for Brandie during their trip to NZ!

There was a lot of scheming and planning behind the scenes that went on to pull off the big surprise and the best part is - it worked!

Also, crazily enough, Brandie had a photo of Coromandel Peak on her 2026 vision board and Vince didn’t even know… so how is that for fate eh?

We had the most perfect evening, flying from Queenstown over the stunning landscape. No wind and just a dreamy evening for these two 🥰

Dan and his friends had a great morning getting ready together - I’m loving the colour of his suit!

Kate and her friends also had a fun morning together. Her veil is epic and looked amazing with her gown & hairpiece.

The ceremony was on a friend’s lawn, looking straight down the lake. Guests had hand woven flax baskets full of petals to throw (all of the baskets, flax flowers & buttonholes we made by Kate talented friend Tay)

They had a beautiful ceremony with personal vows, ring warming (where they are passed to all the guests) and walked out to a shower of dried petals. Then straight to the champagne tower!

The rest of the afternoon consisted of cake, speeches, photos in the sun and snacks before the helicopter came and picked them up from the lawn. We flew to Jackson Peaks and had awesome views with moody clouds. Kate’s veil looked amazing with the wind!

The reception was at the Red Cliff Cafe and more friends joined for this. The night kicked off with the pair walking in doing a choreographed dance with lifts & spins before cocktails and food started flowing. Such a fun day! Congratulations Kate & Dan ❤️

You know those days where everything just comes together perfectly? Well this was one of those days! Amazing weather, whole lakefront to ourselves and the best people to hang out with 😁

Jandrei & Ella had the most amazing wedding day among the olive trees at Bracu Estate in Auckland!

Jandrei spent the morning getting ready with his friends and family at one of the houses on site (it even has a pool!)

Ella was also getting ready on site and had a super relaxed morning with her friends and family. Once getting into her stunning gown, she did a first look with her Dad before heading off down the hill to the ceremony.

The pavilion was set up with white flowers and everything looked amazing. They had a beautiful ceremony with personal vows (that definitely brought a tear to everyone’s eyes!) and walked out to a shower of confetti.

The rain held off so everyone could enjoy the afternoon in the courtyard for drinks and canapés. We went into the olive grove with the bridal party for some photos. Later in the evening the venue took us up into the hills for a few photos higher up.

The reception was beautifully decorated with bottle of olive oil as guest favours. Ella & Jandrei arrived, poured the champagne tower and the party started! Beautiful speeches from loved ones, cake, a choreographed first dance, the photobooth and a delicious meal. It really was such a fun day with amazing people 🥰
